From carefully shaping and balancing your signet ring, to designing unique artwork, and hand-engraving each piece using traditional techniques passed down through generations. To the polishing process, where every piece is given a brilliant shine, ready to be worn with pride.
Our rings are more than jewellery, they are a statement of who you are. Whether it's a new design personal to you or one rich in heritage, each ring tells a story. We will work with you to create the perfect artwork. Only after your final approval will the engraving process begin.

Hi, I’m Joseph, the craftsman behind Valour Stone.
Engraving has always been a part of my life. I grew up surrounded by it. Watching, learning, and eventually working alongside my father and grandfather. Some of my most treasured memories are from those early days, carving side by side with my grandfather, just three feet apart. We even share the same birthday, 50 years apart.
At 19, I began my career in seal engraving, continuing a tradition that’s been in my family for generations. Years later, I came to New Zealand for an adventure and stayed, completely taken by the country’s beauty and way of life.
Starting my own engraving company here felt like a natural next step. Today, I use the skills passed down to me to create one-of-a-kind pieces for people all over the world. The engraving process is almost meditative for me. I enter a focused state as I carve each design layer by layer, finishing with the finest details to bring the artwork to life.
Each piece is truly unique. There’s nowhere I feel more at home than in the workshop—you could say engraving is in my blood. I love discovering the story behind each ring. Every piece holds its own meaning, emotion, and personality.
